Diwali

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is a special celebration enjoyed by many people, especially in India. It lasts for five days and symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. During this time, homes are decorated with oil lamps (called diyas), colorful designs on the floor (rangolis), and bright lights. Families come together to pray, especially to Goddess Lakshmi, for happiness and wealth. They share sweets and gifts with each other, which brings everyone closer. Fireworks light up the sky, making the celebration even more exciting. Diwali is a time for joy, love, and togetherness.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was launched by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi on 2 October 2014. It was launched to promote cleanliness in society. Till now, it has successfully covered 4041 cities across India. It is one of the important campaigns launched by the Government of India. The ultimate objective is to maintain a healthy and clean environment. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is also known as Clean India Mission or Clean India Drive. It is a national campaign where states are also a part of the mission.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan has helped small towns in the maintenance drives when it comes to streets and other places. It is not just about our houses, but also to maintain and following the practices when it comes to public places like parks and other areas of tourist attractions. Maintenance of cleanliness not only helps in the improvement of the standard living condition but also provides a positive image when foreigners visit our country.

Covid-19 Vaccination

COVID-19 vaccination is now offering a way to transition out of this phase of the pandemic. Without them, many scientists believe that natural herd immunity would not have been sufficient to restore society to its normal status quo and that it would have resulted in extreme fatality. This is something that has been echoed by many health organizations including the WHO. In a scenario without access to vaccines, strict behavioral measures may have had to remain for the foreseeable future.

Fortunately, the beginning of 2021 saw numerous vaccines given emergency approval and begin their roll out in countries across the world. It gives hope of a return to ‘normal’. However, global COVID-19 vaccination faces several challenges which may impact its success.

Online Education

Online education refers to the process of education via the internet. Therefore, students can seek knowledge and skills without going anywhere physically. The emergence of new technologies like the internet made it possible for students to attain knowledge from any corner of the Earth. However, there is no time-bound. The online education system is available 24*7 for all the students.

Online education is the modern form of learning which is very different from the traditional way of seeking knowledge. The teacher or mentor uses various means like texts, audios, videos, animations, etc for a better understanding of the students.

Unlike the traditional schooling system, you need not sit from morning to noon. You can study using the internet day or night according to your choice. Not only does it offer flexibility from time and place but also there is no age limit to learn online. Through online education, you can learn lessons and skills of your choice. There are several institutions that provide online courses and their degrees. Thus, it is a more convenient way of educating yourself without physically going to the schools or colleges. It also saves your transportation and other additional charges.

However, online education does not work well for people who live in an area with poor internet connectivity. The internet is the backbone of online education. Spending more time in front of screens could have a harmful impact on your health. It is only a good option for people who can generate self-discipline.
