An old farmer lived in a village. He had four sons. They always quarrelled with one another. The farmer was very sad to see this. He thought of a plan. He made a bundle of sticks. He called all his sons there. He asked them to break the bundle one by one. None could succeed. Then the farmer untied the bundle. He asked his sons to break the sticks one by one. Each broke them easily. In this way the farmer taught them a lesson, “Unity is Strength”.
Moral : Unity is strength.
